Willford Reunion

June was a busy month!  Sterling's sister, Sherma got married and wanted her reception at her house.  So she needed some help getting it ready and finishing her addition.  She and Jason got married in the Rexburg temple on the 29th and all of Sterling's siblings and their spouses were there!  It was pretty awesome.  She married a man who has 3 boys from a previous marriage, so she became an instant mom!
After the wedding, we had a reunion with Sterling's siblings.  Most of us stayed at his parents' house in Egin, but boy, that was a full house!  It was great getting to know the nieces and nephews better.  We went to the sand dunes and the civil defense caves on Monday, on Tuesday we had an inflatable water slide and put on the sprinklers on and let the kids run through.  Me and Sterling had a good time playing with the kids jumping on the trampoline and having water fights.

 On Wednesday, we went on a mile hike to Aldous Lake in Kilgore, ID.  It was pretty easy, so we took the kids.  By the time we were done, they were all tired and hungry.  I had a pretty good time though!

Then Thursday was the 4th of July.  Sterling and I went to a flag raising and a pancake breakfast in Idaho Falls supporting our nephew's scout troupe. It was also our niece, Pheobe's birthday, so we made her a cake and sang happy birthday (twice) and let her open presents.  Later we went to the firework show in Idaho Falls which, even though there was about an hour delay, proved to be an impressive show.

Friday and Saturday we hung out a bit, but families started to head back home.  We had a great week, and now we're getting ready for a busy July.  We'll be performing in St. Anthony's community musical Les Miserables during the week of the 24th of July (which, by the way, you're invited to come and see it) and three more family reunions.  Whew!  We'll see if we can find enough time to find a house!
